The first step to getting your way out of debt or just building up a savings is to get your budget down. I have a pretty good handle on my finances but one thing I want to start doing is the cash envelope system. That means for the next month I will be writing down EVERYTHING I spend money on, it doesn't matter if it is pennies at the arcade or  putting down a down payment on a sword. Everything I spend money on this month will be written for the entire world to see. Oh boy, well here goes nothing. The good news is I only have one debit and credit card.

That is a grand total of $2513.50 Spent in one month with Zero put in savings. Wow...I knew I had a problem but I didn't know it was this big. For October I will continue on the savings challenge and add one more 30 day challenge on top of it.
